Ambassador Eacho speaks at the opening of the conference

Ambassador Eacho opened the one-day conference on financial market regulations in the U.S. and the EU. Mr. Baird Webel, Specialist in Financial Economics with the Congressional Research Service gave the keynote speech at the conference that convened members of the EU Parliament, EU Commission representatives, Austrian banking officials, academia, policy makers and the media. The lively discussions on the panel and with the audience underscored the urgent need for swift and coordinated global action.
