Eid al-Adha Reception

Deputy Chief of Mission Christopher Hoh hosted the annual Eid al-Adha reception for representatives of the Muslim community and Austrian officials. Eid al-Adha or "Festival of Sacrifice" is an important religious holiday which includes the sharing of food with family, friends and neighbors, as well as with poor and needy people.

The newly elected President of the Islamic Faith Community took the opportunity to meet officially with Embassy officers and explain his reform plans.
