London,UK - September 11 Memorial Garden

A permanent memorial garden to those who lost their lives in the United States on September 11, 2001 has been built by the British government in Grosvenor Square Garden, London, which is bordered on its west side by the U.S. Embassy. The memorial's official opening was on September 11, 2003.

New York, U.S. - National September 11 Memorial & Museum

The National September 11 Memorial is a tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center site, near Shanksville, Pa., and at the Pentagon, as well as the six people killed in the World Trade Center bombing in February 1993.  Please see www.911memorial.org for visitor and memorial information.

Washington DC, U.S. - Pentagon Memorial

The Pentagon Memorial is designed so that the nation may remember and reflect on the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. The Memorial will be free and open to the public seven days a week. Groups and individuals are welcome in the Memorial each day but guided tours are not offered; the Memorial is meant to be experienced on a more personal level.  Details on the Pentagon memorial are available on the Department of Defense site at www.whs.mil/memorial/

Pennsylvania, U.S. - Garden of Reflection

The Garden of Reflection 9-11 Memorial was created to remember and honor our loved ones and all 2,973 killed on September 11, 2001. It is situated in Memorial Park amid the natural beauty of Historical Bucks County farmland in Lower Makefield Township.  the official Pennsylvania Memorial Garden website is at www.9-11memorialgarden.org

In The Spotlight: Remembering 9/11

A British Union flag recovered from amongst the wreckage of the World Trade Center at Ground Zero, New York, will go on public display for the first time at Imperial War Museum North to mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Then in October, a 7 metre piece of steel from the World Trade Center will also go on display, among the first pieces from the Twin Towers ever seen in Britain.  More »

A Concert of Reflection
