Message for U.S. Citizens: Djibouti City (Djibouti), Road Closures

Africa > Djibouti > Djibouti

The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. citizens that the 39th Session of The Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held at the Kempinski Palace Hotel from November 14, 2012 to November 18, 2012. Due to the high level of security associated with this event, the U.S. Embassy recommends that all U.S. citizens avoid the area around the Kempinski Palace Hotel while the conference is in session.  Moreover, the Embassy expects a number of road closures as motorcades move high-ranking delegates throughout Djibouti city during the conference.
