American film star Forest Whitaker to be named UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador
Whitaker has worked to promote peace through projects like "Better Angels", a documentary about child soldiers in Uganda. As Goodwill Ambassador, he will focus on promoting peace, reconciliation and empowerment among youths.
