Hours of operation:  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on Turkish and American holidays.

Duty Officer:  In case of an emergency involving an American citizen, you may reach a Consulate Duty Officer at (90) (322) 346-6262 during the non-working hours.   

ACS: American Citizen Services (ACS) are provided Monday – Friday from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:00.   The ACS unit is open for affidavits and notarials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00, and applicants are encouraged to make an appointment with the Consular section before they arrive.  The ACS unit is closed on all American and Turkish holidays.

Visas:  U.S. Consulate Adana does not process visas.  All visa applications are handled by the U.S. Embassy in Ankara or the U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul.  For immigrant visas contact (90) (312) 455-5555 and for non-immigrant visas contact the U.S. Consulate in Ankara at (90) (312) 455-5555 and the U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul at (90) (212) 335-9000.
