U.S. Company 3M Selected as Most Charitable of International Businesses in Sverdlovsk

U.S. Company 3M Selected as Most Charitable of International Businesses in Sverdlovsk

On January 20, Alla Tishova, director of the U.S. Corporation 3 M Urals Branch, received an award from the Sverdlovsk government as the foreign company most active in charitable activities in Sverdlovsk Oblast in 2010. 3M received the award for a broad range of works including support to cancer treatment facilities and local education programs. The awards ceremony was officiated by Sverdlovsk Governor Misharin and attended by many regional leaders in government, business, academia and the media. It received extensive electronic and print media coverage. 3M Urals was nominated for the award by the U.S. Consulate in Yekaterinburg.
