EODYou will provide technical expertise in the fields of mechanical engineering design, explosive effects, material properties, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, remote control systems, and related fields. You will independently conceive, plan, and develop new and novel applications of mechanical engineering techniques to explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) tools and equipment. As a project engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptual planning, design, prototyping, test coordination, testing, and documentation of mechanical devices and tools under development. Such tools include ordnance detection, remote disarming tools and techniques, and explosive initiating devices. The successful candidate must possess a secret clearance or be able to obtain a secret clearance. Top Secret clearance is desired.
