NEW IMMIGRANT VISA FEE

Effective February 1, 2013, all individuals issued immigrant visas overseas must pay a $165.00 USCIS Immigrant Fee before traveling to the United States. The only exceptions are for:

  1. Adoptive child(ren) who is/are entering the United States under either the Orphan or Hague Process
  2. Iraqi and Afghan special immigrants who were employed by the U.S. government,
  3. Returning residents, and
  4. Those issued K visas.

NOTICE REGARDING THE DELIVERY OF APPROVED VISAS:

You will have to pick up your visa and travel envelope from a CARGO EXPRESO office.

  1. Under the Immigrant Visas section, click on “Select Document Delivery Address” and follow the instructions.
  2. When your visa is ready for pick-up at the CARGO EXPRESO office you selected, you will be notified via e-mail. There are no additional fees for this service. 
  3. If you do not indicate a CARGO EXPRESO location online within 24 hours, your visa will be sent to Cargo Expreso’s Managua agency in the capital. If you have any questions about this process or to track your passport, please call (505) 2266-1099.

New Service Hours

  • Beginning July 01, 2012 comeback applicants must schedule an appointment with the call center to return on Monday or Friday.

    Information Hour

    We will provide general information on immigrant visas on a walk-in basis on any Mon or Fri from 09:00 – 11:00 AM, no appointment is required.
