Sci-Fi Writer Arrives in the Urals 
The award-winning science fiction author Michael Swanwick and his wife arrived in Yekaterinburg from Philadelphia to take part in the 29th International Sci-Fi Festival Aelita.   The prominent American writer was warmly received by his Russian fans and peers in the Urals.  On the first day of the festival, Michael visited the Urals Writers Museum and its impressive Virtual Science Fiction Hall.  During his stay in Yekaterinburg, he will also take part in the festival’s Conference on the Contemporary Science Fiction Images and Technologies; Young Authors’ Workshop; a roundtable on the Electronic Publishers’ Problems, and the Aelita Award Ceremony.
