Warden Notice - U.S. Consulate General Karachi Moves to New Location

The U.S. Consulate General in Karachi has relocated to a new compound at Plot No 3-5, TPX Area, Mai Kolachi Road, Karachi.  It will begin operations at its new location on January 18, 2011.

The Consulate's main switchboard telephone number has changed to (92) (21) 3527-5000. The public inquiry email address - ACSKarachi@state.gov - remains unchanged.

U.S. citizen services can be scheduled by calling (92) (21) 3527-5000 between 10 am and 2 pm, Monday-Friday.  We are unable to accommodate unscheduled walk-in appointments.  If you made an appointment prior to our move, please call American Citizens Services for instructions on arrival and entrance procedures at the new Consulate.  Please check our website http://karachi.usconsulate.gov for details on the services offered.

The Consulate General encourages all U.S. citizens living or traveling in Pakistan to enroll online in the State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).  We also recommend that you review the State Department's Travel Warning and Country Specific Information for Pakistan, as well as the Warden Messages posted on the U.S. Embassy's website.
