Operations & Readiness

Mission

To support the readiness, training and deployment of medical assets within the Southern Regional Medical Command (SRMC).  Assimilate the training and readiness policies of the Department of Army, the United States Army Medical Command and the Commanding General of the SRMC.  Advise and assist all SRMC Subordinate Commanders and Sergeant Majors on training and readiness issues.

Plans, Operations and Readiness Primary Functions

  • Readiness Reporting  Analysis of Unit Status Reports, Ammunition Reports and other readiness indicators of subordinate hospitals.
  • Mobilization and Emergency Preparedness Planning  Review of existing plans and policies.
