U.S. citizens should call 081-884-4609 (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) or 081-556-0151 or 081-225-5872 and ask to speak with someone in the American Citizens Services Unit of the Consular Section.

Emergencies after-hours

For after-hours emergencies, U.S. citizens should call 081-556-0151 or 081-225-5872 and ask to speak with the duty officer.

• United States Citizens should send an email to AEKinshasaConsular@state.gov to request an appointment or call at 081-884-4609 (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) for guidance.  If you would like to make your registration online, you may do it anywhere there is internet connection or visit our office where a computer is available in our waiting room from Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m.  However, to avoid lengthy delays, particularly during summer months, we urge you to come to the consular section on those times listed above.
