Notice to Iranian Non-Immigrant Visa Applicants and Other Third-Country Nationals Not Resident in Georgia

PLEASE NOTE: Nonresident third country nationals may make appointments and apply for Nonimmigrant Visas at any nonimmigrant visa issuing post. However, please be aware that the interviewing Officers' lack of familiarity with the local conditions in your home country may make it is difficult to demonstrate your qualifications for a visa. There are Farsi-speaking Consular Officers in Ankara, Dubai, or one of the designated Iranian-processing posts who are familiar with country conditions in Iran, and many Iranian nonimmigrant visa applicants choose to apply at those posts.  Wait times for appointments in Tbilisi for third-country nationals nonresident here are comparable to the wait times at those posts.  Applicants scheduling multiple appointments with different consular sections at the same time will not be granted appointments. 

Please also note that the visa fee will not be refunded, even if a visa is denied.   

We have no Farsi-speaking staff and applicants may not bring a translator.
