The winners of the competition entitled "I Have A Dream For Mauritius" were St. Joseph's College and Hindu Girls College. The competition was organized in the context of the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.

Book Donation to the Council of Religions
The US Embassy made a donation of books on tolerance to the Council of Religions on January 28 at the Embassy. The books will be used by students doing research in interfaith studies.

Ambassador Attends Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebration
Ambassador Villarosa was invited to the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations organized by the Muslim Ladies Council on January 26. Ambassador Villarosa offered "Muslim Life in America" booklet to the audience.

Humphrey Association Launches Book
On January 23, the Hubert H. Humphrey Alumni Association (Mauritius) launched a book on the experience of local fellows in the U.S. and how the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program encouraged them to serve their country. The event was held at the Mauritius Employers' Federation in presence of Ambassador Shari Villarosa.

Ambassador Shari Villarosa hosted a reception at Macarty House on January 15. Invited guests included government officials, business and media representatives, members of the diplomatic corps, and other Embassy contacts.
