Anyone inquiring about a specific visa case should review our Frequently Asked Questions pages before sending an inquiry to the Consular Section.  Please keep in mind that under the provisions of Section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, all visa applications are confidential.  The Consular Section may not discuss specific information concerning an applicant's file.  The only response the Consular Section may provide in response to an inquiry about a specific visa case is an explanation of sections of U.S. law or Kyiv's post-specific procedures that are pertinent to the applicant's case.

Visa interviews: By appointment only, Monday-Friday. Applicants should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to go through security.

Important information

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv is closed to the public for visa business on weekends, the last Friday of the month, as well as U.S. and Ukrainian holidays

NOTE!

  • New Marshrutka Line Connects the NEC with Dorohozhyсhi Metro Station
    We are happy to announce that the City initiated a new express marshrutka line No. 431 going from metro Dorohozhyсhi to the Embassy main entrance.  It takes/drops passengers at the trolleybus 23 stop in the direction of Lukianivska metro station and the center right across the road from the glass roof of Dorogozhychi metro station.  Marshrutka runs from 7 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday.  The interval between the buses shouldn’t exceed 10-15 minutes, the travel time to/from the metro is 8-10 minutes, the cost is UAH2.
