Public Affairs

The Public Affairs Section works to increase bilateral understanding of the United States among the Israeli public.  A growing public awareness of the extensive cultural, business, and social ties between Israel and the U.S. is a key goal of the Embassy.  In Israel, Public Affairs has three main components.

Cultural and Education Programs

The Embassy supports rich variety of cultural and educational programs in Israel.  Music, Dance and the Visual Arts are important links between Israel and the United States.  The Cultural section also provides support for women’s empowerment, environmental concerns, inter-communal problem solving, and educational issues.
