Emergency Assistance After Business Hours on Weekdays, Weekends and American and French holidays.

If you are an American citizen, or you are calling about an American citizen in an after hours emergency situation please call: 01-43-12-22-22 and then dial 0 (zero) when you hear the automated greeting. You will be connected to our live telephone attendants immediately.  Ask to speak with the Embassy Duty Officer who will assist you.

If you are calling from the United States, please dial 1-213-291-2690 and ask to speak with the Embassy Duty Officer.

Please note that the Consulate General cannot act as a booking agent for airlines, train companies, or hotels, and travelers should inquire directly with these entities for information about cancelled flights or other disruptions to planned travel.  However, travelers who find themselves stranded or otherwise without resources or means of assistance can contact the Consulate General for assistance.
