Statement of Support for the United States Diplomacy Center
The Department of State plans to establish the United States Diplomacy Center to tell the story of American diplomacy—from our nation’s founding to the present. Former Secretaries of State have expressed their support for the building of the Center.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has also expressed her strong support. Now, for the first time, there will be a unique center in Washington to engage American citizens and foreign visitors in recognition of the contributions of American diplomacy to our lives here at home and to those of others around the world. The support of the private sector will be critical to the success of this timely and important project.
