The About the USA website provides background information and links on topics of particular interest for students and teachers. It is a bilingual digital resource collection of information and documents on U.S. political, economic, social, and cultural processes. The website offers introductory essays in German and English including links to the best (mostly English) websites on topics ranging from German-American relations to travel and sports.
About the USA includes an English language version and a German language version.

The American Studies Leipzig Gateway is an online research platform provided by the Frank Freidel Library.

With the extensive development of the Internet, new information outlets for scholarly research have emerged. At the same time, the new opportunities have made research even more complex. For this reason, the American Studies Leipzig Gateway was developed to provide guidance to students, scholars, and teachers.

This new resource is still developing.

InfoUSA is a resource for an international audience seeking information about the United States history, culture, economy, educational systems, political processes and more. Content is arranged in five main categories: life, education, government, media, and economy.
Guided tours offer unique features of life in America: Civil Rights, Studying in the U.S., Famous Americans, The Great Outdoors, Working in America.

Pamphlets

This is the latest electronic product by the State Department’s Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP). The unsorted loose series of mostly 2-pagers discusses a variety of political, societal and economic topics including the You asked series.
Each issue is available in both html and in PDF format via the IIP Digital webste.
