Information Resource Center
The Information Resource Center (IRC) is the reference and outreach service of the U.S. Embassy in Qatar, specializing in current U.S. Policy, legislation, trade, social and cultural issues. The IRC is located in the Public Affairs section of the Embassy. The IRC provides research and reference services to professionals, research scholars, jornalists, students and government officials who wish to be informed on U.S. foreign and domestic policies and important trends in contemporary American society.
The IRC also chooses articles of general interest published in various American publications by American authors and sends them to the patrons who request them via email.
Electronic Advance Documents Service (the latest in U.S. Congressional hearings, U.S.Government Research, Think Tank reports and Websites) is also available here.
Upon request, the IRC provides general or subject-oriented briefings on research via the Internet.
IRC Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 9.00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
