Welcome to the American Citizen Services (ACS) unit of the U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Here you will find information regarding the consular services and assistance available to American Citizens visiting and residing in the Guayaquil consular district.
Visiting the Consulate
Please be advised that you may not enter the Consulate with cellular phones, photographic or video cameras, any other electronics and radio equipment, cigarrettes, lighters, and sharp objects. We understand many travelers are passing through Guayaquil with large bags, purses, or backpacks, but unfortunately these items cannot in any circumstances be brought into the Consulate.
Visa Inquiries
Our office does not handle visas nor do we have access to visa information. We will not respond to any inquiries relating to visas, even if they involve an American citizen petitioner. Please contact the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit for questions regarding tourist/business visas and Immigrant Visa Unit for inquiries regarding residency visas.
