The Fort Bliss Field Office of USATDS is regularly staffed by three attorneys who provide consultation and representation to soldiers at Fort Bliss and other military posts within the surrounding region. The office conducts regular briefings for soldiers facing non judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, and administrative separation under AR 635-200. The office also provides advice on a walk-in basis to soldiers who are suspected of criminal offenses. Soldiers who have been questioned concerning suspected offenses or have reason to believe they may face disciplinary action should call or visit the Fort Bliss Field Office of USATDS before making any statement to anyone concerning their case.

HOURS OF OPERATION

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 0900-1700
  • Article 15 Consultations 1300
  • Administrative Separations Counseling 1345
  • Tuesday: 0900-1700

    Tuesdays are primarily for the attorneys to prepare for Article 32 hearings, courts-martial, and administrative separation boards. Individuals needing advice for suspect rights issues can call and come in as the attorneys can make time available for them. Others are seen on a case by case basis.

  • Thursday: 0900-1500

    Enlisted personnel of TDS spend Thursday mornings at Sergeant’s Time training.

Attorneys can see individuals as they deem necessary or by appointment.

Emergency Assistance: The Trial Defense Service recognizes the need for immediate assistance in certain cases and will accommodate those situations on a case-by-case basis.
