How to schedule an appointment

To schedule a visa interview appointment, please call our call center at 0900 70600 any day between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. This number can only be reached from within Egypt, using a regular landline. If you wish to call from a cellular phone, please call 2100 from any call center line. The charge for this service is LE 5.5 per minute with a ceiling of 50 LE. The average call length is 10 minutes. The Embassy generates no profit from the call center.

The required application processing fee is paid at any branch of the Commercial International Bank (CIB).

To make a nonimmigrant visa appointment while in the United States, please ask a relative/acquaintance residing in Cairo to call 0900 70600 and schedule an appointment on your behalf during the interval you plan to be visiting Egypt. They will need your full name as it appears in your passport, your date of birth, passport number as well as passport date and place of issuance and expiration.

Average Visa Processing Time means the number of working days, after a consular officer decides to issue a visa, for the passport with visa to be returned to applicants via the DHL Courier Service. Average Visa Processing Time does not (repeat not) include processing for other administrative and security related procedures. It also does not include courier handling and delivery timeframes, since they are out of our responsibility and control.
