User Support

The NCRC project supports end-users at multiple sites across the U.S. and on multiple computational resources.

Gaea Users

Gaea, a Cray XE6 supercomputer, is the primary computational resource within the NCRC project. End-user support on Gaea is handled by individual NOAA sites. Please contact your site’s tech support representatives for issues regarding Gaea.

Titan Users

Titan, a hybrid-architecture Cray XK7 supercomputer, is the flagship computational resource at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. A limited number of NOAA researchers can gain access to Titan through the NCRC program. Access is ultimately controlled by NOAA management. For more information on accessing, using, or getting help on Titan, please see Getting Started on Titan for NOAA Researchers.
