Fees for American Citizen Services
As required by regulation, applications will not be processed until the appropriate fees are paid in full to the Consular Section's cashier. All fees are non-refundable. Fees may be paid in U.S. dollars or in Israeli shekels at the current consular exchange rate. Payment may be made in cash, by credit card, or by cashier's check. Torn or damaged currency will not be accepted. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Novus/Discover, Diners, and Visa/Master Card purchasing cards, but we can only accept credit cards that are authorized for international transactions. All cashier’s checks must be made out to the U.S. Consulate General. Any cashier's checks in U.S. dollars must be drawn on a U.S. bank. Personal checks are not accepted.
The current consular exchange rate is 3.8 NIS to the U.S. dollar. In order to calculate the price of a consular service in Israeli shekels, multiply the price below in dollars by the current consular exchange rate. If you submit a check in Israeli shekels that is the wrong amount on the day your application reaches our office, your check will be returned to you.
