The American Citizen Services section provides emergency services to Americans present in Peru in the event of arrest, death, crime victimization, repatriation, medical evacuation, temporary financial assistance and welfare-and-whereabouts cases. If you have a life or death emergency, you may call (51-1) 618-2000 at any time. An Embassy duty officer is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please note that passports can only be replaced during office hours.

SCAM - Arrested in Peru
