Information Resource Center

Welcome to the IRC – Your primary resource in Morocco for information about the United States!

The U.S. Embassy’s Information Resource Center (IRC) in Morocco is a reference and research facility. Our goal is to provide you with accurate, up-to-date and authoritative information about U.S. society and policy materials and cover such topics as U.S. foreign policy, government, economics and trade, history, social and cultural issues.

The IRC has access to extensive online databases via the Internet, including full-text periodical databases such as Factiva, Lexis-Nexis, First Search, Proquest and Ebscohost. Through these databases the IRC has up-to-the-minute access to the full text of over 10,000 magazines, newspapers, wire services, and other information sources.

Whether you are interested in an article about U.S. politics, wish to consult a bibliography of American Literature, or plan a trip to the United States, our professionally-trained reference staff stands ready to assist you in your search, quickly, conveniently, and free of charge.
