Again this year, one shot covers both seasonal and H1N1 flu.
Three easy ways to get vaccinated:
Drop by the Erie VA Medical Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. any weekday, except federal holidays. You can also visit your local VA community-based outpatient clinic in Ashtabula, Crawford, McKean, Venango, or Warren county any weekday. For faster service, please drop by between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Ask for a free flu shot at any scheduled VA appointment.
Be sure to bring along a photo ID, such as your Veteran's Identification Card.
Additional steps you can take to ward off the flu:
- avoid people who are sick
- clean hands often
- keep hands away from face
- cover coughs and sneezes
