Visa Services

The U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya processes only non-immigrant visas. The U.S. Consular Agency in Bali does not process visas of any variety. For information regarding Immigrant and Fiancée Visas,

please visit the web site of the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta at http://jakarta.usembassy.gov.

While visa processing requires between 3 and 7 days in most cases, persons planning to visit the United States should generally apply for their visas at least two weeks prior to their scheduled departure dates. Fraud Warning


Please Note: There have been instances of fraudulent websites posing as official U.S. Government sites. Some companies posing as the U.S. Government have sought money in order to "complete" lottery entry forms. There is no charge to download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. The Department of State does NOT notify successful Diversity Visa applicants by e-mail. Entrants who completed online DV 2011 entries between October 2, 2009 and November 30, 2009 and who were selected in the random drawing are notified by the Department of State, Kentucky Consular Center by letter. Entrants can also check the status of their entries by returning to the website at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov from July 1, 2010 until June 30, 2011. Entrants who completed online DV 2012 entries will not receive notification letters from the Kentucky Consular Center, and must check the status of their entries by returning to the website at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov on or after May 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
