U.S. Citizen Services
The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Libreville provides the following services, among others, to American citizens: passport issuance and renewals, addition of pages to passports, issuance of Consular Reports of Birth Abroad to American citizens born overseas, enrollment of American citizens, and notarials. It is also responsible for the issuance of travel warnings, public announcements and other travel information for Gabon and Sao Tome & Principe.

The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Libreville will be offering all routine services by appointment only beginning September 1, 2011. We hope that this will improve our service by minimizing your wait time and giving us the opportunity to help you prepare all of the documents you need for your appointment. Please schedule an appointment by sending an email to LibrevilleACS@state.gov indicating the type of service you need and a general idea of the days and times you are available. We will send you an appointment confirmation and a list of the documentation you will need. If you prefer, you may also call +241-01-45-71-00 and ask for the Consular Section. No appointment is necessary for emergency services for U.S. citizens.
