MEPI Kuwait

The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), located within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, supports efforts to expand political participation, strengthen civil society and the rule of law, empower women and youth, create educational opportunities, and foster economic reform throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

In support of these goals, MEPI works with non-governmental organizations, the private sector, and academic institutions, as well as governments.     Maktabat MEPI features more than 520 training resources that some 40 partner organizations in the U.S. and the Middle East have developed with MEPI funding. The site includes materials in English, Arabic and French. These resources are available for free.  You can also find MEPI’s trainer database, a repository of local trainers in the Middle East and North Africa region. If you’re a trainer looking for new contacts or an organization looking for a MENA-based trainer, check it out!
