Embassy Ashgabat places great importance on strengthening the United States’ commercial ties with Turkmenistan, including assisting U.S. companies interested in entering Turkmenistan’s emerging markets. 

Turkmenistan, which possesses some of the world’s largest natural gas resources, has a history of buying American products that extends back to its independence from the Soviet Union. Its appreciation for America’s technological innovation and the commitment of U.S. companies to both producing high-quality products and providing world class service has led to a several-fold increase in trade between our two countries in recent years.
