Official translations, stenographers and court reporters: To find official translators go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs's website (Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores). The U.S. Embassy does not offer translating or interpreting services. It is not common practice for courts to employ stenographers or a court reporters in Costa Rica. If you need transcripts of court proceedings, you will have to hire your own from the U.S.
