Yreka Rural Outpatient Clinic

Yreka Rural Health Clinic doors are open

The Yreka Rural Health Clinic opened its doors recently with a contract for 500 unique Veterans. Within 5 months, the clinic exceeded this enrollment and increased the contract to see up to 1,100 unique Veterans. Currently, there are 818 enrolled Veterans for the Yreka site with more veterans enrolling every day.

This follows the VA Secretary’s initiatives to have a patient centered focus to medical care for Veterans by providing medical care at a location near their residence versus traveling up to 2 hours to the Redding Outpatient Clinic for care. The Rural Health Clinic allows the Yreka enrolled Veteran to access VA care Monday through Friday throughout the year rather than a quarterly visit by the mobile clinic team. The Veterans praise the clinic and its courteous, professional and efficient staff.

One of the highlights of the clinic is the “Wall of Heroes,” on which local Veterans are honored by having their picture hung on the wall of the clinic.
The Clinic, located at

101 E. Oberlin Drive, Yreka,
is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday.
