Data Entry of Site Information

There are several ways(6) to select information using site input choices.

Site by Spherical Coordinate System Enter latitude using degrees, minutes, and seconds measured north or south of the equator and longitude measured east or west from the prime meridian (0 degrees) reference line at Greenwich, England. Latitude maximum is 90N or 90S degrees while longitude maximum is 180E or 180W degrees.

Site Area Selection by Political Subdivision Selecting site by country, state administration division, county is one of the best way to seek data from database. This data is mostly complete and will give you an array of data from the state or area of interest to select from. Choices, such as, the exact data keys(typos), series name(spelling errors) are nullifed while the location will be estimated by the control manager. Selecting soil information using site location is a recommended way to find your information since this data is mostly complete in the database. This option is the best "last resort" to find your information.

Soil Survey Area Soil Survey Areas may vary by soil sampling projects. Soil Survey Areas are created to define and aid while sampling a project. SSA may overlap each other and or have similar names, or the same name. If your soil survey area is not listed the data may be identified other ways.

Major Land Resources Area Review MLRA information by viewing the Geographic Database. Your MLRA choice may be selected by viewing the available choice list at the blue check box!

National Park System Land Your National Park may be selected by viewing the available choice list. If your National Park name does not display there is no data available from that park. To open the choice list click on the blue check box.

National Forest System Land Your National Forest may be selected by viewing the available choice list. If your National Forest name does not display there is no data available from that forest system. To open the choice list click on the blue check box.

The Advanced Query entry choices are accumulative, that means any and all selections entered on this page is processed by the query manager as one query. The button "Clear All Search Criteria" located at the top of the page may be used to clear all choices allowing you to start over. Make your selection carefully as poor selections may give no results or more data than necessary. If you have difficulty finding your information we suggested you seek your information by Country, State Admin Div, and County option. This option will give you an array of data from the state or area of interest to select from! This browser interface will work best using MS-Explorer.
