Political-Economic Section
The Political-Economic Section at Consulate Naples is responsible for following economic, political, commercial and scientific/environmental developments in southern Italy, in particular tracking issues such as protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), economic development of the South, law enforcement, and port security. The Section also assists in the promotion of American business and trade in Southern Italy.
In addition, the Section provides official information about U.S. government decisions and policies to the regional and local authorities throughout the Consular district.
