Step 5: Pay the Application Fee.

How do I pay my Fee?

Each person applying in Germany for a visa to travel to the United States is required to complete separately an online payment confirmation form in order to obtain a secure receipt (Visa Deposit Slip) for the visa processing fee.

Important for the visa interview: Please note that the Visa Deposit Slip needs to be presented at the visa interview as proof of payment and not the bank receipt!

The online payment service is provided by Roskos & Meier OHG, a subsidiary of the Allianz Group.

Step 1: Determine which fee you have to pay

Step 2: Complete and submit the payment confirmation form as directed.

Step 3: Once Roskos & Meier has confirmed that payment has been made into the appropriate account, each applicant will be sent an email to which a name specific receipt (Visa Deposit Slip) with a QR Code is attached. This attachment (the Visa Deposit Slip) must be printed out as each applicant must present an individual receipt at the visa interview as proof of payment.

Please Note: It can take several days to receive the payment confirmation, so please plan accordingly.

Special Cases:

International payments (from outside Germany) may incur additional charges. Please be certain that the required visa application fee arrives with Roskos and Meier in full and in Euros. If insufficient funds are received, no receipt can be issued.

If you are scheduled for an emergency appointment, you will receive separate instructions on how to pay the visa application fee.

Refunds:

Refunds of this fee are rarely granted, and only when the fee was collected in error.

If a visa application has been refused or an applicant has erroneously paid the fee twice, a refund will not be approved.

Requests for a refund of the visa processing fee should be directed exclusively to the Chief of the Consular Section in Berlin, Clayallee 170, 14195 Berlin.
