Reporting Crime

Hours
Although we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our normal walk-in business hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need to speak to a FBI representative at any time other than during normal business hours, please telephone our office at (415) 553-7400.

Directions
Our office is in the Philip Burton Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse located between Polk and Larkin Streets and Golden Gate Avenue and Turk Street (see map). Street parking is limited, but there are several garages in the area.

Driving directions are as follows:

  • From the South Bay: Take the Ninth Street exit off of Highway 101 north. Make a left onto Ninth Street and another left onto Turk Street.
  • From the North Bay: Take 101 South, which becomes Lombard Street. Make a right turn onto Van Ness Avenue and a left turn onto Golden Gate Avenue.
  • From the East Bay: Take the Ninth Street/Civic Center exit off of I80 west. Make a right turn onto Ninth Street (the right three lanes turn) and a left onto Turk Street.
