Consular services in Rennes are available by appointment only for persons residing or traveling in the following areas: Brittany, Lower Normandy and Pays de Loire. Please contact APP Rennes by email at usarennes@state.gov to schedule an appointment. APP Rennes is closed on all American and French holidays.
American Citizen Services
APP Rennes provides limited passport and citizenship services for American citizens and birth registrations for U.S. citizen children born abroad. Notarial and authentication services are provided for U.S. and non-American citizens for documents to be used in the United States, and for U.S. citizens for administrative purposes in France such as marriage.
