AMBASSADORS FUND FOR CULTURAL PRESERVATION - The U.S. Embassy Pristina and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce the 2013 call for proposals for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP).  AFCP was established to help countries preserve cultural heritage and to demonstrate U.S. respect for other cultures.  The AFCP is aimed at preserving cultural sites or objects that have an historical or cultural significance to the cultural heritage of Kosovo.  The deadline for submitting a proposal in English is Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 5:00pm Kosovo time.

UNIVERSITY SUPPORT GRANTS PROGRAM -U.S. Embassy Pristina’s Public Affairs Section will award a series of small grants to enhance curriculum development, research and library resources, and the professional expertise of faculty of Kosovo’s universities.  Grants will help the universities to establish linkages with U.S. institutions in order to encourage development of program planning and curriculum revisions.  Additionally, resources will be devoted to library collections and other research tools. The University Support Program grants are awarded on a competitive basis.  The closing date for this round of proposals is July 31, 2012 at 05:00PM

DEMOCRACY COMMISSION SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM - The Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo is announcing the 2013 round of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program.  This program seeks to support the development of Kosovo’s democratic institutions and civil society by awarding, on a competitive basis, small project grants to Kosovo non profit, non governmental organizations (NGOs) and independent local media organizations. The Democracy Commission grants are awarded on a competitive basis.  The closing date for applications for this round is November 30, 2012 at 05:00 PM

SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM - Kosovo institutions interested in supporting artistic, academic, or other activities with a connection to American culture or values are invited to apply for a small grant from the U.S. Embassy in Pristina. Examples of past programs include support for visits of American experts or performers; conferences on American themes or issues of mutual interest; exhibitions of works by Americans; and educational programs.  Please follow the link above for details on application procedures and requirements.  Proposals are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
