CSM Katrina M. Najee enlisted in the U.S. Army in October, 1986. She attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee VA.

Her initial assignment was at Fort Bragg, NC, as a Logistical Specialist. CSM Najee's next assignment was as a Budget Analyst with the 82nd Airborne Division. In 1995 she was selected to attend U.S. Army Drill Sergeant School. Following her graduation, she served as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Lee, VA. CSM Najee then served as the NCOIC of one of the largest logistical warehouses in Korea, supporting both areas I and II. Her tour in Korea was followed by an assignment as First Sergeant of Alpha Company, 96th Aviation Support Battalion, the Directorate of Public Works Sergeant Major, Fort Campbell, KY, Battalion CSM of the 101st STB and 129th CSSB for 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). CSM Najee currently serves as the Command Sergeant Major for United States Army Garrison Japan (USAG-J). CSM Najee has been deployed four times in her career, with two different Divisions.

CSM Najee's military education includes Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advance Non-Commissioned Officers Course, United States Army Sergeant Majors Course, Drill Sergeant Course, Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officers Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Light Fighters Course, and the Rappelling Course. She has been awarded a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University.

CSM Najee's assignments include Ft Bragg, NC, Ft Drum, NY, Korea, Germany, Ft Lee, VA and Ft Campbell, KY.

Her awards and decorations include: Bronze Star (3 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (7th Award) and, the Army Drivers Badge.
