U.S. Government Resources

  • Department of Commerce: works to strengthen the international economic position of the United States and facilitates global trade by opening up new markets for U.S. goods and services, promotes progressive business policies that help America’s businesses and entrepreneurs and their communities grow and succeed. 
  • Export.gov: brings together resources from across the U.S. Government to assist American businesses in planning their international sales strategies and succeed in today’s global marketplace.  Export.gov also hosts information on the National Export Initiative. 
  • Export Import Bank of the United States: official export credit agency, which assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets and enables U.S. companies — large and small — to turn export opportunities into real sales that help to maintain and create U.S. jobs and contribute to a stronger national economy.
  • National IPR Center: the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) stands at the forefront of the U.S. government’s response to global intellectual property (IP) theft.
  • Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR):  part of the Executive Office of the President, responsible for developing and coordinating U.S. international trade, commodity, and direct investment policy, and overseeing negotiations with other countries.    http://www.ustr.gov/
  • Overseas Private Investment Corporation: helps U.S. businesses gain footholds in emerging markets catalyzing revenues, jobs and growth opportunities both at home and abroad by providing investors with financing, guarantees, political risk insurance, and support for private equity investment funds.
  • The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA): provides support to U.S. small businesses and small business owners across the nation through capital (loans), access to federal contracts, and counseling.
  • U.S. Trade and Development Agency: helps companies create U.S. jobs through the export of U.S. goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies, links U.S. businesses to export opportunities by funding project planning activities, pilot projects, and reverse trade missions while creating sustainable infrastructure and economic growth in partner countries.

  • Invest Lithuania: assists foreign companies in launching and developing successful investments in Lithuania, exercising complete professionalism in working with clients, including confidentiality with regard to each investment project. Invest Lithuania offers a wide range of services throughout the investment project cycle. 
  • Enterprise Lithuania: supports the start and development of competitive businesses in Lithuania and fosters the country's exports by providing quality training, consultancy, market-analysis and business-partners-search services
  • Lithuanian Business Confederation: represents Lithuanian businesses, encourages a competitive economic environment, advocates the interests of the service industry, trade industry, and cutting-edge technology businesses in Lithuania. 
  • Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists: creates favorable conditions for the development of economic, technical and social progress, improves exports and import conditions to enable Lithuanian industry to contribute to the strengthening of the national economy.
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs: the central institution of the Republic of Lithuania implementing Lithuania’s foreign policy and coordinating activities of other public institutions in the foreign policy field.
