Andrew C. Parker

U.S. Consul General in Montreal, Andrew C. Parker, is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, rank of Minister-Counselor. Prior to arriving in Montreal in September 2011, he served as Consul General at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel. Previously he served as Consular Section Chief in Frankfurt, Germany and as Visa Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City.

From 2000 to 2002 Mr. Parker was assigned as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Georgetown, Guyana. Mr. Parker has also served as Labor Attaché in Lagos, Nigeria and as a consular officer in Jamaica and the Netherlands. In Washington, he served as a Special Assistant in OES, the Environmental Affairs Bureau, as a supervisor in the Bureau of Consular Affairs and as country desk officer for Zimbabwe. His first assignment was in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Mr. Parker is accompanied by his wife, Sheryn Hylton-Parker. Mr. Parker, a native of New York, attended Duke University and the University of San Francisco, School of Law.
