Business Hours

The American Citizen Services unit is available to the public 8:00 am through 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. and Mexican holidays and the following dates.  In general, morning hours are reserved to handle passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA’s) and notarial services.  Afternoon hours are reserved for information requests.

Those individuals that want to apply for their American Passport, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) or a notarial, need to schedule an appointment. The appointmens can be made through our Internet online system.

Individuals with questions about non-emergency American Citizen Services (i.e. routine passport processing requirements, requests for forms, questions about citizenship requirements, etc.) may either come to the Consulate or call our office at (81) 8047-3100 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. and Mexican holidays and the following dates, and our staff will be happy to assist you.
