Voter Registration General Information

New Law Makes Absentee Voting Easier for Overseas Americans

DON'T WAIT - PLAN TO REGISTER TO VOTE NOW!

New laws in effect this year impact the absentee voting process. States are now required to send out blank ballots electronically. Depending on which state you are registered, voters will be able to get their ballot by e-mail or fax or download a ballot from the web. For this reason, it is important that you fill-out a new Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) and include an e-mail address and indicate how you would like your ballot delivered.

We encourage every overseas U.S. citizen to act now so that your opinion is heard in upcoming elections.  The official U.S. Government resource for overseas absentee voters is the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) website.
