@ Daud, just one simple key: Be yourself. Dont pretend and act natural. They are already impressed with your credentials. They want to know you as a person

Hello People!

The YES program had its' tenth anniversary on the historical date of 12-12-12. That was yesterday! we had a cake party in almost all the chapters of Pakistan. Special T-Shirts are going to be given out to those who actively participated in the tweeting celebration. I am pleased to mention that #KLYES10 remained at the top of the twitter tweeting list in Pakistan for the whole day.

Cheers to the young ambassadors! :)

Congratulations!

Hi everyone! With Thanksgiving coming up on November 22, in the USA we're about to start another delicious holiday season - and we'd love some recipe ideas! Please contribute to the holiday food discussion - and I will try to prepare a few of the dishes!

I am looking forward to trying some delicious food!

Also, here is more information on the SUSI program!

Study of the United States Institutes for Scholars  are designed to strengthen curricula and improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions overseas. Foreign university faculty, secondary educators and other scholars spend approximately four weeks at host universities where they take part in a series of lectures, seminar discussions and site visits related to each institute’s theme. They learn about American educational philosophies, explore new teaching methods and pursue related research interests.

Participants spend the remaining two weeks on a study tour, which complements the academic program and includes visits to sites of interest in another geographic region of the country. Each institute concludes with several days of meetings and related study in Washington, D.C.

How To Apply: Prospective participants should contact the Public Affairs Office of their local U.S. Embassy for information about upcoming institutes. U.S. Embassies manage the  nomination of candidates, as well as organize participants' travel to the U.S. In some countries, candidates may also be selected by a binational Fulbright Commission.
