Embassy of the United States Juba, South Sudan

The United States Consulate General Juba opened in 2005. It was transformed into an Embassy at midnight on July 9, 2011 when the Republic of South Sudan became independent. It is also the headquarters for the U.S. Agency for International Development mission in Juba. The United States Embassy in Juba is located in Tong Ping, north of the Ministries complex next to the European Union compound.
