The Special Report for Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX) was a collaborative effort of IPCC Working Group I, which focuses on the physical science basis of climate change and Working Group II, which focuses on impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability, with Working Group II holding the overall responsibility.  More than 80 authors, 19 review editors, and more than 100 contributing authors from all over the world contributed to the preparation of SREX.  Further information on coordinating lead authors, lead authors, and review editors is available by chapter in the menu to the left.
