Hello 22D MEU Families and Friends,

Our Marines, Sailors, and their families are our most important asset. As members of the 22D MEU, we have a responsibility to our family members as we are not only accountable for our own readiness, but also that of our families.

The Family Readiness Program is dedicated to helping our service members as they take a proactive approach to their personal and family readiness. They will be more able to focus on accomplishing the mission, knowing that their spouses and family members have a reliable resource in the Family Readiness Program.

As the Family Readiness Officer for the 22D MEU Command Element, I am here to assist Marines, Sailors, and their family members as they prepare to rise to the challenges of the military lifestyle. The 22D MEU Family Readiness Program serves as a responsive, supportive, and professional resource for information and referral to enhance the readiness of all Marines and their families. In partnership with Marine Corps Community Services, and several surrounding entities, I will aid in providing services and resources to address the versatile needs of the 22D MEU families.

The Commanding Officer ultimately is responsible for the Family Readiness Program; however, to achieve optimal levels of readiness, it is necessary for Marines to take an active part in ensuring that their families have the foundation necessary to facilitate strong communication within the Marine Corps.

You may access our 24-hour hotline by calling 1-877-817-7322 (toll-free) or 910-451-8780 (Jacksonville, N.C. area) and pressing the number ‘4’ at the prompt.
